The bill was from his personal tax filing from 2013, according to the papers.
The Internal Revenue Service announced that they had been notified 3 months ago and they was looking for De Niro in a Feb. 3 notice to New York City’s Department of Finance. , and that the government would go after his Tribeca condominium if “you neglect or fail to pay a tax debt.”
his lawyer said If they sent the bill in 2013 to the right address, it would have gotten paid sooner
